Man uses counterfeit $50 bill to buy milk and cigarettes

A counterfeit $50 bill was reportedly passed by a man buying milk and cigarettes at Circle K in Lady Lake.

The counterfeit bill was accepted Jan. 19 by a cashier at the store located at 413 S. Hwy. 441, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

In addition to milk and cigarettes, the man also purchased a Mountain Dew and Honeybuns.
