Man jailed after car found parked in middle of road in Village of Fenney

A man was arrested after a car was found parked in the middle of the road in the Village of Fenney.

The gold car was spotted shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday on Perdue Place and Wildwood police officers identified the driver as 30-year-old Virgilio Chun Domingo of Leesburg. A check revealed Chun Domingo did not have a driver’s license.

He told police he was waiting for a friend. Officers reminded him not to drive, but while they were still on the scene, Chun Domingo drove away. He was stopped at Fenney Way and Graham Court and was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $1,000 bond.
