Wildwood police track down teen who allegedly vandalized girlfriend’s brother’s car

Wildwood police tracked down a teenager who allegedly vandalized his girlfriend’s brother’s car.

The owner of the vehicle went to the Wildwood Police Department this past Friday and reported the damage to his silver 2010 Pontiac G6, which included a cracked windshield, damaged rear-view mirror and dented quarter panel. Damage was estimated at $1,550. The damage occurred when the vehicle was parked earlier that day in the 700 block of Jackson Street.

An officer was able to track down the suspect, Bryan Shyrod McMullen, of Wildwood, at 9:44 p.m. when he was riding as a passenger in a car.

McMullen was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $2,000.
