Two cars collided shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday on County Road 466A at Morse Boulevard.
Both drivers escaped injury.
Villages Public Safety personnel were on the scene of the accident as were deputies from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Community Watch was on hand, directing drivers around the wreckage.
The intersection has been the site of numerous accidents over the past several months.
