Dog-friendly dining at Square 1 moves toward final approval in two weeks

Wildwood commissioners on Monday evening conducted the first reading of an ordinance which would allow dog-friendly dining on the outdoor patio at Square 1 Burgers at Pinellas Plaza in The Villages.

The ordinance has been drafted at the request of the restaurant.

Final consideration will take place in two weeks at which time a public hearing will be conducted.

Square 1 Burgers offers dog-friendly dining, complete with a special menu for canines, at some of its other locations.
