The Sumter County Clerk’s office is offering Saturday hours, for one day only, on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. as part of a statewide project to assist customers who can not get off work to pay their tickets, fines or court costs.
The Clerk’s office will be open to the public on April 18 at the North Sumter Annex on County Road 466 in The Villages, Florida 32162 (Phone: 3526894628).
The Clerk of Court and staff will be accepting payments for traffic tickets, fines and costs for Sumter County charges. Payments must be in the form of cash, or credit card and there is an ATM at the location for your convenience.
“In addition, the Clerk of Court and staff will be offering passport applications, passport renewals and marriage license to further assist our customers that can not leave work for these services.
If you have questions and need these services, please call ahead to be sure you have all the necessary paperwork for the passports or marriage license services so your trip will be a success,” said Gloria R. Hayward, Sumter County Clerk of the Circuit Court.
