Villager shocked to spot dog ‘driving’ golf cart

A Villager could hardly believe his eyes when he spotted a dog in the driver’s seat of an oncoming golf cart shortly before noon Sunday in The Villages.

The “driver” of the golf cart was seated in the passenger while the dog appeared to be happily riding in the driver’s seat. The incident was captured on video.

The incident took place at St. Charles Place by the Sandhill Executive Golf Course.

This comes at a time when golf cart safety in The Villages is an extremely hot topic.
