An 46-year-old Ocala man has been arrested for the second time this month after allegedly ripping off a 91-year-old woman

Bryan Keith Middleton of Ocala was already facing felony charges of fraud and larceny following his arrest Oct. 18 by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies. You can read about that case HERE

He was arrested again on Tuesday morning by Wildwood police on another felony charge of larceny.

Middleton had called a Wildwood police detective last week saying he wanted to know what he had to do “to get this over with,” according to a police report.

In a recorded conversation, Middleton admitted he took checks in the amount of $2,000 and $5,000 for work he never performed at a mobile home owned by the same 91-year-old woman on Carol Street in Wildwood.

Middleton was arrested Tuesday and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $2,000 bond.
