Missing man for whom Silver Alert had been issued has been located

UPDATE: The Ocala Police Department indicated at 12:21 p.m. Thursday that Roland Moquin has been located.

A Silver Alert was issued at 4:40 a.m. Thursday for a missing 91-year-old man.

Roland A. Moquin left the Ocala Regional Medical Center at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to get food from Checkers. As of 4:40 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, Moquin has not returned to ORMC or notified any family members of his location. He suffers from dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease along with various other health problems. Moquin was last seen leaving in a 2011 red Chevrolet Traverse, bearing Florida tag 432 NME.  There should be a custom license plate on the front of the vehicle – “Norma & Moke”  If contact is made with Moquin, notify the Ocala Police Department at (352) 369-7000, reference case #201600244804.
