Wildwood man claims girlfriend of six months bit him on thigh, struck him in head

A 39-year-old Wildwod woman was arrested after her boyfriend of six months told police she bit him on the thigh and struck him in the head.

Wildwood police were called at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday to a residence on Millray Drive to a report of a disturbance. A man told police he had recorded his girlfriend’s attack on a cell phone. He said he has been getting abused by his girlfriend “for a while.”

Janeen Lee Lopez was arrested on a charge of domestic battery and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $2,000.
