A 58-year-old Ocala woman is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a two-vehicle collision in Wildwood.

Denise Marie Foster had been at the wheel of a silver Ford passenger car at about 7 p.m. Sunday when she rear-ended another vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 301 and Cleveland Avenue in Wildwood.

She failed field sobriety exercises and at first refused to provide a breath sample, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. After the officer read Foster the Florida Implied Consent Warning, she agreed to submit to a breath test. However, she did not cooperate during the breath test and would not provide an accurate reading, the arrest report indicated.

She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $500 bond.
