The planned changes and upgrades made to the Lady Lake Driving Range along Rolling Acres Road are now complete and came in under budget by over $3,000.
Parks and Recreation Director Mike Burske shared the news with Lady Lake Commissioners during last week’s Lady Lake Commission meeting.
“The job that was done on that driving range is beautiful. I’m very impressed with the work that was done,” commented Commissioner Ruth Kussard.
The projected cost of the project originally came out to $155,817.00, over $3,000 more than the actual cost of the project ($152,327.60).
The Lady Lake Driving Range shouldered $57,624.80 of the project costs, while The Villages Woodworking Shop pitched in $2,257.50.
The range will host a soft opening on July 18 with plans for a grand opening on Oct. 24.
