Dennis Weingart of the Village of Collier got a hole-in-one Wednesday, Aug. 2 while golfing at the Volusia Executive Golf Course.
He was golfing with his regular Wednesday group when he got the hole-in-one at Hole #9 at 148 yards. He used a 6 iron.
“I saw the ball hit the green then roll towards the hole. Wasn’t sure if it went in until we got to the green,” he said.
It was his first hole-in-one.
