A Marion County sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 7100 block of NW 55th Avenue on a blue Chevrolet Silverado due to the driver not wearing a seatbelt, according to an arrest report. Upon contact with the driver, the driver advised he did not have his driver’s license in his possession and provided the name Phillip Lamar Matchett with the date of birth of Oct. 9, 1968. As the deputy researched the provided name, he observed a photograph of Philip Matchett, which did not resemble the driver. The deputy made contact with the driver who confessed that Philip is his older brother and provided the deputy with his real name, Brian Keith Matchett, and his real age being 46. Matchett confirmed that his driver’s license was currently suspended.

Matchett was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail. Bond was set at $2,500.
