Hugh Charles O’Donnell

Hugh Charles O’Donnell, 79, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on November 26, 2017 at Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares, Florida. Hugh was born on April 16, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his parents Hugh O’Donnell and Mary (Duffy) O’Donnell.

In his younger years he had been an Entertainer, later in his life he became a Real Estate Broker and was the Owner of Century 21 O’Donnell Real Estate in Brigantine, New Jersey. He had originally moved from Brigantine, New Jersey to Las Vegas, Nevada and in 2011 moved to Leesburg, Florida. He was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years: Carol O’Donnell of Leesburg, FL; three sons: Shawn O’Donnell, Hugh O’Donnell, Jr. and Christopher O’Donnell and his wife Marion; a daughter: Angela Eichenmiller and her husband Eric; two brothers: Charles O’Donnell and Thomas O’Donnell; 17 grandchildren: Dakota, Brandon, Amanda, Hugh, Matthew, Kerri, Brenna Byron, Garrett, Elisabeth, Erika, Nathan, Spencer, Thomas, Kayla, Michael, and Laura; five great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Brent Emery, a daughter, Lisa Emery and a brother, Patrick O’Donnell.

The family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Hugh’s loving memory.
