Man reports car stolen from his driveway in Ocala

A car was reportedly stolen from a man’s driveway on Tuesday in Ocala.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence located on SW 161 Place in reference to a motor vehicle theft, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who advised that between 5 p.m. on Monday and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, someone stole the man’s 2006 Chrysler 300. The victim claimed it was locked and secured. He advised that the estimated value of the vehicle is approximately $5,000.
