Bobbie Jean Sollman

Bobbie Jean Sollman

Bobbie Jean Sollman, 79, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 25, 1939.

Bobbie was a loving wife and mother, enjoyed being with her friends and neighbors and was always willing to help others. Bobbie worked most of her life in manufacturing, as a nurses’ aide for her mother-in-law and in the Deli at Winn Dixie in The Villages. She liked to travel, cruise and play golf and, by the way, is the only family member to get a “hole-in-one!”

Bobbie was an excellent cook and enjoyed watching cooking shows and Steve Harvey’s “Little Big Shots” on television. She maintained a strong and steady attitude during her illness to the end. God Bless her!

Bobbie met Robert Sollman while he was in the U.S. Air Force in San Antonio and they had an Air Force wedding. They would have celebrated 61 years this December.

Bobbie is survived by her husband Robert Sollman, her two sons: Rick who lives in The Villages and Gregg who lives in Waukesha, WI; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A funeral service will be held at North Lake Presbyterian Church in Lady Lake, FL on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11 a.m.
