James Robert Gray, Jr.

James Gray, Jr.

James “Jimmy” Robert Gray, Jr., 45, of Summerfield, FL, passed away on March 11, 2020 at The Villages Regional Hospital with his wife by his side.

Jimmy was born on October 3, 1974 to his parents, James Robert Gray and Linda Murphy in Baltimore, MD. He was raised in Indiana, where in 1991-1994 he served in the US Army. He then became a construction laborer for many years. After awhile, Jimmy was tired of having to work in an office, and became a truck driver hauling across the country

Jimmy loved to stop and visit historic places, and beautiful scenery. Jimmy loved his family, and wanted to always be involved. He would be the one to plan family nights and movie nights. Everyone would have a great time. He loved to ride he motorcycle, and was a member of the Suffolk County ABATE. He always said, “Nothing is better than the freedom of the road and the wind in your hair.” Jimmy loved to bring his Chow-Chow, Rosie, with him. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Alicia Gray; sons, Vincent and Dominic; father, James Gray, Sr. (Jane); mother, Linda Murphy; siblings, Christina and Linda; and lots of other family and friends.
