Sumter County Sheriff’s Office thanks to everyone who helped stock food pantry

To the Editor:

Sheriff Farmer, Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, and his Staff would like to “THANK” everyone for helping us stock up our food pantry for the holidays this 2020 holiday season.  We have handed out over 100 food boxes to the families in need with plenty of supplies left to help throughout the upcoming year.
There has been  such a tremendous response from the public that we still have a full food pantry.  Without the public’s help we would not have been able to touch so many families this year.
Also, we would like to “THANK” everyone for the monetary support that was donated to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Benevolent Fund.  With these funds we have been able to touch over 800 children for the Christmas holiday season through all of our Christmas programs.
