Edward R. Heath

Edward R. Heath, husband, brother and stepfather, died Tuesday, February 16th in The Villages, Florida. He was born September 24, 1937.

He will be remembered for his willingness to help others, indomitable work ethic, cooking skills and storytelling.  He was always the first to raise a glass for a toast at the dinners he made and kept his guests entertained with stories and insights on life. He was a soldier in the Marines and Army, served in Korea, and worked as a Construction Manager for AT&T.

He is survived by his wife Shirley (Wilkison) Heath, sister Sherie Lorie, and his stepchildren Gary Wiley, Sue Wiley, (Gary’s wife), Bryan Wiley and Summer Wiley (Bryan’s wife).

A Military Honors Committal Service will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 11 AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to Lake County Animal Shelter, 12280 County Road 448, Tavares, FL 32778 in Edward’s memory.
