Diannia Collopy 75, of Summerfield, FL peacefully passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 due to long battle with breast cancer while under the care of Hospice with her loving family & friends by her side.

She was born July 21, 1947 in Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late Ocie and Michael Gryziecki. Diannia was raised in IL and went to Williamsfield High School.

She is survived by the love of her life Husband, Arlyn Collopy married 58 years of Summerfield, FL, her children the (late Michael Collopy) Michelle Collopy Dombek (husband Rob) and Craig Collopy of Summerfield, FL. Three Grandchildren (Children of Michelle & Rob) Rebekah, Chloe and Benjamin Dombek. Her siblings Robin Gryziecki and Roger Dunn and (late Patricia Bunyard).

Diannia owned and managed two clothing stores in Illinois (Queen Size Fashions) and moved with her husband to Florida in 1994 where she started a pet sitting business called (Diannia’s Critter Sitting).

Her hobbies were softball, baseball, bowling, crafts, cross-stitching, gardening, taking care of her animal babies, and frequenting local internet gambling cafes. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, as well as Elvis. Diannia was always on the go and enjoyed theme parks and road trips with her husband or friends.

Diannia enjoyed watching her husband, children and grandchildren play multiple sports. She coached little league and was the first certified woman coach in Centralia, Il.

There will be a “Celebration of Life” Service at The New Covenant United Methodist Church, 3470 Woodridge Drive, The Villages, FL 32162 on Saturday, September 10th at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed at this link: https://ncumcfl.com/celebration-of-life-diannia-collopy. Updates will be posted on the Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society website under Obituaries.

She will be laid to rest in Illinois at the Williamsfield Cemetery where there will be a grave side service on October 15th, 2022.

Diannia loved animals and helping people in need. Please kindly consider in lieu of flowers donating to your local Animal Rescue or Shelter in her name or local Breast Cancer chapter. Donations may also be made directly to the family to help cover medical and funeral related expenses.
