Wildwood man arrested after running stop sign in Village of Palo Alto

A 34-year-old Wildwood man was arrested at 2:42 a.m. Monday while driving in the Village of Palo Alto.

Paul Michael Gross was pulled over by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy after he allegedly ran a stop sign at Del Norte Drive and Palo Alto Avenue.

He was found to be driving on a suspended license and it was determined to be his second such offense, according to the arrest report. He was also ticketed on charge of running a stop sign.

He was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $1,000.
