Christopher Hall

A man armed with a pair of brass knuckles was arrested at 2 a.m. Sunday outside City Fire at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square.

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene following reports of a disturbance and a man armed with a knife.

Upon arrival, a deputy located 26-year-old Christopher A. Hall of Lady Lake. He appeared to be intoxicated and had a pair of brass knuckles in his pocket, according to the arrest report.

The deputy put handcuffs on Hall and had him lie on the ground while the deputy interviewed witnesses and victims.

The deputy determined that Hall had been involved in an altercation with another individual “which caused moderate to severe injuries,” according to the arrest report.

Hall told the deputy that he had consumed four shots of Jack Daniels, six beers and a bottle of wine prior to the altercation, the report indicated.

Hall is facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly intoxication. He was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $1,000.
