Gayle E. Krumlauf, 70, of Lady Lake, Florida passed away November 22, 2015 at The Villages Hospice House The Villages, Florida. She was the wife of Lyle Krumlauf for 43 years.
Born in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Oriel and Ruth Hansen. She was a member of the North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake, FL. She enjoyed traveling, collectables and genealogy. She and her mother owned and operated a Baskin-Robbins franchise in Illinois. She loved her dogs and her favorite papillion, Brewster. She loved to cook and entertain her family and friends.
Gayle will be deeply missed by her husband: Lyle Krumlauf and Son: Spencer of Galesburg, IL and daughter: Lindsay of Lady Lake, FL. She is the grandmother of Christian Krumlauf of Galesburg, IL. She is survived by sister: Sharon Hessenthaller of Gurnee, IL and brother: Leonard Hansen of Wadsworth, IL. The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159 on December 12, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1: 00 PM. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dan Baumann officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
