Golf cart operators in The Villages urged to be safe this holiday season

With so many visitors arriving for Christmas, golf cart traffic will be on the upswing.

With so many golf carts in The Villages – operated by both snowbirds, visitors and year-round residents – accidents are part of the equation.

Contributing factors like speed and alcohol consumption make golf cart travel more dangerous.

The Villages District Office  provides copies of the Golf Cart Rules of the Road and Safety Tips available for download.
