A 23-year-old Lady Lake man was jailed over the weekend on warrants charging him with battery and witness tampering.
Mark Daniel Carter of 612 3rd Ave. was taken into custody at 11:54 a.m. Saturday by Wildwood police.
He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $10,000.
