Villagers for Trump planning golf cart rally at Lake Sumter Landing

The Villagers for Trump organization is planning a golf cart rally later this month at Lake Sumter Landing.

The event is set for Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Golf carts will assemble at 3:30 p.m. at Barnes & Noble and will depart at 4 p.m.

Stan Swies of the Village of Palo Alto took on the role of Donald Trump.

Democrats staged their own golf cart rally this week, with more than 200 golf carts encircling the square.
