Clifford F. Cook, 85, Leesburg, Florida, passed away on March 12, 2017 at his residence in Leesburg, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Cook was born on December 6, 1931 in Damascus, Georgia. Mr. Cook has resided in Leesburg for over 55 years originally moving down from Damacus, Georgia. He was Owner of Po Boys Place Building Supply in Leesburg, Florida for over 40 years. He was a proud World War II Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his loving children: David Ray Cook of Leesburg, FL, Peggy Diana Wright and her husband Doug of Wildwood, FL, Cynthia P. Buhler and her husband Pete of Leesburg, FL and Nichole Lynn Lewellyn of New York and Geraldine’s children: Rocky Evans and William Evans; Many loving grandchildren; many loving great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his late wife Geraldine Wilma Cook, a son, Wayne Cook, a daughter, Deborah Owens, a sister, Ruby Bush. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 1:00PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with Military Honors by the U.S. Navy. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida.
