Colleen Mary (Fitzgibbons) Clore, age 68, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Jackson, Michigan passed away on June 10, 2017 in Cornerstone Hospice, Orlando, Florida, after a bout with cancer. Colleen was born on November 18, 1948 in Jackson, Michigan to Robert and Gloria Fitzgibbons (Horsch).

She loved animals, playing softball, journaling and was an excellent marksman at target shooting. She worked as a greenhouse attendant and loved growing plants and flowers. Orchids were her specialty. She fostered over 100 children through the years and owned her own embroidery business. She loved socializing with her Ballesteros Group Luncheon Club looking forward to their monthly gathering. Colleen and husband Jack moved to The Villages in 2012 from Jackson, Michigan.

Colleen is survived by loving husband of 51 years Jack: two sons, Jack Clore Jr. (Joanna), of Michigan: Timothy Clore, of Arizona: Three daughters, Tracy Ann Rochefort, of Michigan, Julie Marie Alderman, of Kansas, and Jennifer Lynn Rochefort (Rob), of Michigan: One brother, Robin Fitzgibbons (Kathy), of Michigan, and one sister, Sheila Fitzgibbons-Ellison (Richard) of Michigan. Also, surviving are nine grandchildren, Robert, Chelsea, Anna, Jacqueline, Lindsey, Marissa, Paige, Zachary, Marcus, one great-grandchild Colin, aunts Diane and Pat, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held for her at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice, at 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162, or to your local animal shelter.
