District to make recommendation on covered swimming pool in The Villages

The possibility of establishing a covered swimming pool in The Villages will be discussed this week by the Amenity Authority Committee.

Villagers had appeared before the AAC, urging members to consider a covered pool to accommodate those concerned about sun exposure.

District staff have prepared an analysis and will be making a recommendation to the AAC.

The AAC meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Savannah Center.
