James David Bare

James David “J.D.” Bare, 56, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017. Mr. Bare was born May 5, 1960 in Del Rio, TX to Wagoner Huey Bare, Jr. and Jessie Lou Long Bare. He was an U.S. Army Veteran and of the Christian Faith.

J.D. moved here in 1985 from Germany and was a rural letter carrier in The Villages working out of the Lady Lake USPS. He was vice president of the First Coast A&C, vendor director for Florida Mopar Association and a member of the 82nd Airborne Assoc. His passion was for classic cars.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Shari Welsh Bare; son, David E. Bare of Wildwood; daughter-in-love, Felicia Bare of Wildwood; mother, Jessie Lou Bare of Manchester, TN; siblings, Ted Bare (Kay), Teresa Boyette (Steve), Danny Bare (Shane) and Phillip Bare (Misty) all of TN; grandchildren, Madison Salinas and Lexie Bare. J.D. was preceded in death by his father, Wagoner H. Bare, Jr.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with interment in Florida National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, www.cshopice.org.
