Joan Brozzetti, 77, left her last footprints on this earth Sunday, December 18, 2016. She was born to the late George and Hazel Gotis on March 18th, 1939, in New York City, and is predeceased by her brother George Gotis. Joan studied performing arts and graduated from Music and Art High School in New York City and attended the State University of New York Potsdam where she studied Music Education and met her husband, Robert Brozzetti. They married in 1958, settling in upstate New York for 48 years before relocating to the fun-filled Villages, FL, in 2006. Anyone who knew Joan found her vivacious, full of love for life, a loyal friend, and an incurable Yankee Baseball Fanatic. Not only was Joan talented and energetic, but she was strong willed, funny, loving and a natural beauty. She lived a busy retirement, enjoying many years making lasting friendships in the Villages. They have been the happiest years of her life, and she often said she wished she had moved here sooner! She participated in many activities that allowed her to pursue her passions. She especially enjoyed her dancing activities and friends she made with Dance Fusion and Off Broadway Players. She was an avid book reader and managed the book drive for several years for the Santiago Ladies Club and participated in many other clubs. She was known for her friendly smile, infectious laugh, and lived by her motto: “Be a blessing to someone every day.” She loved her family and leaves her husband, Robert (Bob) Brozzetti, married 58 years; daughters, Palma Brozzetti, Frederick, MD; Lori Brozzetti Carella, Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Kirsten and Loren Carella; Greg Allen and his wife Chelsea, Ben Allen, Jamie Allen and her great grandson, Waylon, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
