Ocala man killed when vehicle leaves roadway, strikes tree

A 66-year-old Ocala man was killed when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree Monday in Marion County.

Phillip Charles Geske had been at the wheel of a 2017 Kia Sorrento at 5:40 p.m. traveling east on SW 110 Street when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Geske was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
