Ronald Raymond ‘Ron’ Doucette

Ronald Raymond “Ron” Doucette, age 65, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 with his beloved wife Kerry faithfully at his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Ron was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and moved to the Leesburg, Florida area in 2016 from Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. He spent a career in retail management that spanned 48 years and retired in 2013. He was a very private, and reserved person, and was sometimes shy, but when he made a friend the bond was always special and strong. He loved to travel and enjoyed camping in upstate New York with his wife Kerry and close friends. He enjoyed watching football and baseball and was a lifelong fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He loved spending time with his Yellow Lab Jenny as she always brought a smile to his face and warmed his heart. He will be very missed by his wife and best friend Kerry, and many other close friends who were touched by his life through the years.
A graveside memorial service is planned for 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, Florida.
