Elizabeth A. Kinzer

Elizabeth A. Kinzer, age 91, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 in Leesburg, Florida. Elizabeth was born in Cardington, Ohio and moved to the Leesburg area in 1981 from Mansfield, Ohio. She was a Homemaker and former Department Manager at Montgomery Wards for many years. Those close to Elizabeth will remember her as a “feisty” lady who always had a “pep in her step.” She had a big heart for people and was the glue that bonded her family together. She loved the outdoors and found great joy and satisfaction spending time in her flower and vegetable garden and she even enjoyed pulling weeds! The most important thing in her life was that she had Jesus as her Lord and Savior and without a doubt she is rejoicing with him now. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 54 years Stewart. She leaves behind her son – Lonnie (Lucy) Kinzer – of Leesburg; daughters – Connie (Allan) Beery of Mt. Gilead, OH; and Melody (Stephen) Gerger of Lady Lake; 9 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
A service celebrating Elizabeth’s life is planned for 1 p. m. Thursday – March 16, 2017 at the Good News Church – 400 Executive Blvd., Leesburg, FL 34748. The family will greet friends on Thursday from noon until 1 p. m. (Service time). The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to: The Good News Church.
