Assisted living facility staffer pays phone bill using resident’s Citizens First Bank account

Natalia Gooden

A housekeeper at a local assisted living facility is facing a felony charge of larceny after she allegedly paid her phone bill through a resident’s account at Citizens First Bank.

The woman’s son first noticed the $402 charge made to the bank account. The charge had been made by 24-year-old Natalia Daneshia Marie Gooden, a housekeeper at American House assisted living facility,  according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

The woman had been in Canada and it was determined that Gooden had cleaned her room while she was away. The transaction was completed Dec. 19 through the AT&T website, the arrest report indicated.

Gooden was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released on $3,000 bond.
