A Lady Lake man landed behind bars after failing to appear on a traffic summons.

Angel Manuel Gonzalez Pacheco, 33, who lives in The Cove Apartments, had been at the wheel of a blue Ford Ranger pickup on Sunday afternoon when a police officer ran the vehicle’s tag and discovered the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license for failing to show up on a traffic summons in Orange County, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

He was arrested on charge of driving while license suspended and booked at the Lake County Jail on $500 bond.
