Lady Lake man jailed after allegedly threatening to slice woman ‘ear to ear’

Daniel Allen

A Lady Lake man was jailed after allegedly threatening to slice a woman from “ear to ear.”

Daniel Allen, 37, at about 6 p.m. Saturday entered the home where he lives at 221 Morningside Ave. and he began “yelling and screaming” at a woman and calling her “provocative” names, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

He ran down to his room and re-emerged with a bladed pocket knife in his hand and threatened to “slice” her from “ear to ear,” the report said. A third person grabbed Allen before he got to the woman. Another person called 911.

Allen was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,000 bond.
