Wildwood woman caught with drugs in Ocala traffic stop

Logan Michaela Justice

A 21-year-old Wildwood woman was arrested last week after deputies found marijuana and LSD in her vehicle during a traffic stop in Ocala.

Logan Michaela Justice, of 307 Gray Ave., was charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of LSD and possession of drug equipment. She was pulled over at around 1 p.m. Thursday for failing to use a turn signal while making a left-hand turn onto SE 73rd Street.

Justice didn’t have her driver’s license in her possession, so her identity was confirmed by running her name and date of birth through the Drivers and Vehicle Information Database (DAVID). When a Marion County sheriff’s deputy asked her about the odor of marijuana coming from her vehicle, Justice said she had marijuana in her purse, according to the sheriff’s office report.

Deputies conducted a search of her vehicle. Inside her pink handbag was a small jar containing a green leafy substance, a grinder with marijuana residue inside it, and a small piece of tin foil folded into a rectangle. Inside the tin foil were two small white squares. The leafy substance tested positive for marijuana, while the squares tested positive for LSD, the report said.

Justice was taken to the Marion County Jail, where she was released Friday on $4,000 bond.
