Apartments will destroy image of The Villages

To the Editor:

So sorry to see we may have apartments in The Villages. When moving here there was a cap on the amount of people in any age restricted housing. This was a state law. We were assured that was the cap. As I recall it was 105,000. That law was vacated per politicians and lobbyists.
Now apartments? Doubt we would have moved here. The cap taken off was disturbing but apartments are far worse. It will destroy the image of our Villages.
Seeing the apartments in Brownwood, then picturing them in residential area is sad. Sad for any housing near it. Traffic on Morse in the winter is dangerous. Many accidents. Who did a traffic study? We beg anyone to look at the apartments in Brownwood and imagine them by your house. There are many things that could be put in the area which would be more pleasant to look at. We urge our commissioners to delay this.
