To the Editor:
In the World War II era the Nazis employed the use of “The Big Lie” tactic against the Jewish people, blaming them for the problems of Germany.
The tactic is simple: make up lies, enlist the media to carry out and repeat the lies over and over again and many people begin to believe the lies. Hence the scape-goats are created, demonized and destroyed.
That is exactly what happened to President Trump starting in 2016. The man wasn’t in office one day when “the resistance” was formed and began calling for his impeachment. These hateful people, many part of the “Deep Swamp,” never accepted the results of the 2016 election (so much for the peaceful transition of power.) They attempted to sabotage this president at every turn.
Along the way, “minor” things were overlooked by the biased media. Things like criminal acts committed by Hillary Clinton, such as destroying 33,000 emails, acid washing and destroying her phones and computers, and spying on the Trump campaign. All this while promoting the big lie that Donald Trump was collaborating with the Russians and actually was a Russian asset. Along the way, destroying the lives of numerous innocent people that happened to support Donald Trump. (Remember General Flynn?)
When that didn’t work, the Democrats impeached the president, who was acquitted by the U.S. Senate. The game plan of the Dems was simple. Make up any lie about Donald Trump, put a despicable hack like Adam Schiff in charge and proceed to demonize and destroy the president and any another innocent individual that happens to stand in the way. (Remember how the vicious Democrats treated Justice Kavanaugh?)
Where did all this vile hatred come from? In all my time I have never hated my president, even though I disagreed with his policies. I suggest that you cowards search your soul (if you have one) as to the hatred in your heart.
To my neighbors in The Villages: Ask yourself why you moved to Florida. I suspect taxes and way of life are in the forefront. Yet you bring your politics with you and vote for the very policies that forced you to move out of the liberal northern bastions.
To all those anti-Trumpers: You helped to defeat the hardest working president in my lifetime. Now our children and grandchildren will have to live under what you helped to create.
