Colin R. Dodd, of The Villages, passed away March 28, 2021.

He was born in Stanmore, England, in 1945 at the end of WWII. As a young man in search of better opportunities, he emigrated to the United States and settled in Rochester, NY. In 1970, he married Janet M. De Rycke and raised two children with her while navigating a thirty-five year engineering career with Xerox Corp.

Colin was a social, fun, loving man with a penchant for motorcycle riding, the Buffalo Bills, and classic rock-and-roll, especially The Who! He had many friends through work, bowling, softball, and golf leagues. He was a great husband, father, brother, and friend as well as a generous and kind man who was always willing to lend a hand.

Colin is survived by his Wife, Janet, Daughter, Jennifer, Son, Colin Trevor, two precious Grandsons, Carson and Logan Dodd, sister, Kay Garrison, as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral service. A celebration of life event will be scheduled at a later date.
