The Lake Miona sports pool has reopened after repairs to its cracking surface.

The problem was discussed in November by the Project Wide Advisory Committee, which oversees amenities south of County Road 466.

The cracking marcite prompted an extended closure of the popular sports pool.

Marcite is a combination of cement, sand, and calcium carbonate.
