Dog-sitting Villager discovers burglary at her boyfriend’s residence

A 26-year-old resident of The Villages who was checking on her boyfriend’s dog, discovered that his residence at Little Lake Weir had been burglarized while he was away.

A 65-inch television, a 32-inch television, Ray-Ban sunglasses, an electronic hoverboard and 30 DVDs had been stolen from his residence on SE 95th Avenue in Summerfield, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The value of the items was $2,330.
