Albert William ‘Al’ Zelenka

Albert “Al” Zelenka, age 84, of Leesburg, FL, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville, Florida. Albert was born in Dobbs Ferry, New York and moved to the Leesburg, Florida area in 2006 from New Orleans, Louisiana. Before his retirement he was a sales manager with the Phillip Morris Company and retired after 30 years of service with the company. Those closest to Al will always remember him as a funny and outgoing person who was devoted to his family. He loved watching baseball and was a lifelong fan of the New York Metz, and he was an avid reader and was always very content when he was reading a Tom Clancy or another spy novel.
He was predeceased by Nancy his wife of 49 years in October 2016 and is survived by his son Gary and daughter-in-law Susan Zelenka of Tampa; brother and sister-in-law – Walter and Joy Mangiacotti of Leesburg; and a nephew Michael Manning.

Albert’s family and friends will celebrate his life with an informal gathering at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. at the Page-Theus Funeral Home Event Room.
