A suburban Chicago man was arrested on a charge of disorderly intoxication after a disturbance this weekend at a gas station.

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were called at 11:54 p.m. Friday to the Shell gas station on County Road 470 in Lake Panasoffkee where 30-year-old Frank R. Schoiber Jr. of Bolingbrook, Ill. was using vulgar language toward a woman, according to an arrest report. He then began using the same profane language toward people he did not know coming in and out of the station, the report indicated. The store’s clerk complained to deputies that Schoiber’s actions were prompting complaints from customers.

Schoiber was arrested on a charge of disorderly intoxication and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $100 bond.
