Thomas Frederick Crawford, 86, The Villages, FL died peacefully Saturday, June 15, 2013. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and came to The Villages in 2000. He served in the Army in WWII, was a graduate of Kent State University and was in the insurance business for his entire career, as an agent and later as President and CEO of Interstate Insurance Agency. He was an avid golfer, artist, and plane modeler. He is survived by his wife Alberta, daughters Diane/Robert Thomas and Jill/Todd Gilmore both of Lakewood, OH, a son, Thomas J/Michele Crawford of Spokane, WA, sisters Patricia Anderson and Nancy Lofgren, with nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at St. George Episcopal Church on Friday, June 21 at 3:00 PM.
