Christine M. Desmond

Christine M. Desmond, 45, of The Villages, Florida, passed away of a sudden illness on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

Christine was born in Claremont, New Hampshire and spent her school years in Newark, Delaware. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware in 1998. Over the last 10 years, she has been a committed volunteer at the Village Regional Hospital East Campus and earned a special recognition for her years of service. She was an avid sports fan, enjoying Nascar racing, baseball, and European soccer. She was also a passionate animal lover.

Survivors include her parents Francis R. Desmond Jr. and Darlene Desmond; sister Courtney L. Desmond and brother-in-law Jerome Chabrillat of Redwood City, California; uncle Duane and aunt Karen Dewart of Coppell Texas; and cousins Darryl and Derek Dewart.

A memorial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the University of Florida in care of the Christine M. Desmond Research Fund for Brain Aneurysms at the following address: UF Health, PO Box 100243, Gainesville, FL 32610.
