Danielle Marie Tsatsaron entered the store on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Lady Lake and was spotted by the store’s loss prevention officer concealing merchandise in her purse, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The merchandise was valued at $66.99.

A search of her purse turned up a hypodermic needed with the residue of methamphetamine. There were also three Alprazolam pills in a wallet in her purse, the report indicated.

She was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug equipment and petit theft. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.

Last year, Tsatsaron was arrested with two other people when a bumper fell off a golf cart on the Historic Side of The Villages.

She was arrested in 2005 in New York on a theft charge. She was also arrested in 2015 in Marion County on a charge of theft.
