Barbara Gersing

It is with great sadness that our family would like to announce the passing of Barbara (Bobbi) Gay Gersing on September 1, 2017.   Bobbi was born February 14, 1938 in St. Petersburg, Florida to the late Mr. Meyer and Mrs. Anne Miller and is survived by her son Stephen Brian Gersing and her daughter Susan Michelle Altman and Susan’s husband Ronald Altman.

She will be especially missed by her long- time partner Michael Juliano, her abundant friends, her sister Sandra Prince and husband Paul, grandchildren Brooke, Katie, Kaci and Thomas (T.J.), their spouses and great grandchildren Aria and Isla.

Bobbi will be remembered for her ability make even the worst situation seem tolerable with her sense of humor and positive attitude, in addition to her selflessness and general giving nature. Even in sickness, she was still mostly concerned with the wellbeing of others.

A memorial will be held on a yet to be determined date.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Cornerstone Hospice in the Villages.
